How to use Health Bridge

  1. Export your data from the Google Health app via Google Takeout (choose the .zip format) and download it to your iPhone.
  2. Open Health Bridge, tap Add new export, and choose the .zip file.
  3. Review the detected data types, confirm the time zone, and tap Import to Apple Health.
  4. Re-export and re-import on your schedule — Health Bridge skips anything already imported.

Frequently asked questions

Does my data leave my phone?

No. All parsing happens on-device and nothing is uploaded anywhere. See the Privacy Policy.

Why do imported times look shifted?

If your Takeout export doesn't include a time zone, Health Bridge uses your phone's. On the preview screen, set the Data time zone to the one your Fitbit account uses so times line up.

Will re-importing create duplicates?

No. Health Bridge tags every record and skips anything already in Apple Health, so repeat imports stay duplicate-free.

The Apple Health permission prompt didn't appear.

iOS only shows it once per install. Manage access anytime in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Health Bridge.
